RE: 1. The game is Minecraft. The server is very large, it is called Mineplex. I am not sure what you mean by REST, but I am sure if you explain it I can help answer it.
RE: 2. The list will be mine which I store the names.
RE: 3. My application needs to check if the certain players that are in my list are online.
