Software Description: Aspose.Cells is a Java component for spreadsheet reporting without using Microsoft Excel. Other features include creating spreadsheets, opening encrypted Excel files, macros, VBA, Unicode, formula settings, pivot tables, and importing data from JDBC ResultSet. CSV, SpreadsheetML, PDF, ODS, and all file formats from Excel 97 to Excel 2007 are supported. It supports all advanced features of data management, formatting, worksheet, charting, and graphics.
Changes: This version includes support for some advanced auto-filter types like MultipleFilter, DynamicFilter, and IconFilter. Now users can format the whole Pivot Table with ease and make the Pivot Field's items Hidden/Shown. Moreover, you may specify Axis properties as Automatic for Charts. The formula calculation engine was also enhanced; it now supports EOMONTH formula. Moreover, the thumbnail of a re-saved chart is kept the same as the original file when embedding XLS into PPT. Reading ODS files no longer causes memory problems. Other recent bugs were fixed.
