ReachApp Tweak Gets Updated With App Chooser for Better Split-Screen Multitasking

Technobiru :

ReachApp tweak, which uses Reachability to bring split-screen multitasking to jailbroken devices, has been updated with a new app chooser and much more.

For those unfamiliar with ReachApp, it is a tweak that brings a multitasking view to Reachability (the feature Apple launched with iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus). In the latest update to ReachApp, the tweak now displays an app chooser to select an app to run in split-screen multitasking instead of simply loading the last ran application.

Along with the new app selector, the update includes a new scaling rotation mode that forces applications into portrait mode and scales them to the proper screen size in landscape mode. The developer notes that the new scaling rotation mode is still in beta and still needs some work. The entire change log includes:

● Added a flipswitch

● Updated method of getting background app

● Update grabber view

● Add new rotation scaling method

● Add app chooser

● Update preference pane

● Add StatusHUD2 conflict

● Make ReachApp not load filecoordinationd

● Add armv7 slice

● Internal code restructring

● Fix most instance of Reachbility auto-closing when opening

● Some other little fixes

ReachApp is free, but you have to add the beta repo in Cydia (http://ift.tt/1uunrwM) in order to use it.
