Scott Forstall has emerged following his departure from Apple as a Broadway musical producer.
We haven't heard much from Forstall since his ousting from Apple in 2012 but just yesterday leaked emails from Sony suggest he received 0.11% of Snapchat's stock to serve as an adviser to the company.
Today, Forstall tweeted for the first time saying, "I'm thrilled to be co-producing the Broadway musical Fun Home http://ift.tt/1EK7wWz opening this Sunday. Bravo to the phenomenal team!"
FUN HOME is based on Alison Bechdel's best-selling graphic memoir. It features music by 4-time Tony Award nominee Jeanine Tesori (Violet; Caroline, or Change), book and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Lisa Kron (Well) and direction by Sam Gold (Seminar), and stars Tony winner Michael Cerveris (Sweeney Todd) and three-time Tony nominee Judy Kuhn (Les Misérables).
FUN HOME introduces us to Alison at three different ages, revealing memories of her uniquely dysfunctional family – her mother, brothers and volatile, brilliant, enigmatic father – that connect with her in surprising new ways. This intimate and emotional theatrical experience is performed entirely in the round, bringing audiences closer to Alison’s story than ever before.
Notably, the Forstalls are mentioned in the playbill.

THE FORSTALLS (Producer). This is Scott and Molly Forstall's first foray on Broadway after years in Silicon Valley. They share their love of theatre with their children, Freya and Nils, both of whom are enthusiastic theatregoers and performers. Thanks to Carole for the magnificent journey.
