Apple's next generation iPhone may feature the company's new alloy of 7000 Series aluminum that was created for the Apple Watch, reports UDN. Since the alloy is significantly stronger it would help the device resist bending.
Corporation that Apple intends to enhance cell phone cases hardness using a higher level of 7000 series aluminum, because of the new sporty Apple Watch 7000 series aluminum has been used to strengthen the hardness, it is expected the new generation iPhone 6 will be adopted in order to strengthen the product of nearly hardness, as a result of high-grade aluminum hardness increase of 60% would result in CNC manufacturing process more complicated, it will help the process can become a technology leader with competitors pull away.
On the Apple Watch page, Apple describes the benefits of the new aluminum alloy.
For Apple Watch, we created a new alloy of 7000 Series aluminum that’s 60 percent stronger than standard alloys. Yet it’s very light. Together with the Ion-X glass covering the display, it makes the Sport collection watches up to 30 percent lighter than our stainless steel models. It’s also exceptionally pure, with a beautifully consistent appearance that’s difficult to achieve with traditional aluminum alloys.
